Ruthlessness
October 19, 2008
The thought of ruthless people has been on my mind tonight. I was talking with a good friend of mine and we got to talking about women within our industry. It is hard to understand how someone has to damage someone else’s standing in order to get ahead in business, in relationships, or any area of life in general. What does it say about someone who will go to any length to get the advantage over another person? I think it speaks volumes as to the kind of person who would do something like that. Whether they are covertly catty, or outright spitefully malicious, what is it that drives women to behave this way towards other women? The answer… Men! Men that they want to gain business from, earn money off of, or get into a relationship with.
It shows how little you have to offer in the way of skill, morals, ethics, personality, knowledge. All it shows is how inferior you feel compared to others. Sad to say, inferiority is something that no amount of cutthroating can cure. What ever you have gained through those methods is something that is fleeting and will not last. People that resort to ruthless tactics are the kinds of people who have always been less than the best. They don’t know how to achieve success by their own merits. That or they are completely crazy and so disconnected from their inner self that nothing matters. So if that’s what it takes for you, so be it. You will always be second rate.
