The law of non-resistance

September 5, 2008

The law of non-resistance can more familiarly be called the law of allowing as people who follow the teachings of Abraham know it as. This has been a recurrent theme for me this week and I just happened to go to youtube this morning to look at something and I checked to see if any of my subscriptions had updated with new videos. Jacob Glass had posted a new beautiful video yesterday about the law of non-resistance and he quoted right out of a favorite book of mine “The Game of Life” by Florence Scovel Shinn. The funny thing is as I watched the video my own copy of the book is sitting here on my desk because it is my intention to read through the 4 book collection again and refresh my memory on her teachings. I need to practice non-resistance.

A few weeks ago I was resisting everything that was happening around me. It’s taken me all this time to come to terms with what is and find answers. I joined a new community of loyal Abraham-Hicks readers and that is what keeps coming up again and again, non-resistance. So within 12 hours or so I’m starting to soften a little bit to some things and kind of just let it all flow and not be so worried about outcomes. Ultimately, what happens is that everything starts to flow into your life when you are still and soft and which is the reason why it’s so important to be in the practice of the law of non-resistance.
